this is how lazy we are...

so apparently day light savings time was last sunday...

today is thursday...

out of all four us living in the condo, NOBODY tried to take down our kitchen clock and move the time back to an hour. UNTIL...

this morning - when our cleaning lady maria said to me - "do you want to adjust the clock."

I said - Oh yeah... sure.

Time To Clean Up Our Act...

Good news everybody! I just bought us a new Hoover canister vacuum from Amazon and it should be arriving tomorrow! It got over ~900 reviews and had 4 out of 5 stars on Amazon and supposedly it has really strong suction ("that's what she said"). It does hardwood floors in addition to carpet and rugs so we're really in for a treat here. I know we'll probably all be fighting to use the vacuum once it gets here so I'll start a waitlist on the kitchen whiteboard. =P

Anyhoo, I'm way excited! Oh and Maria is coming Thursday. Woot woot!

Who's frank?

This weekend, one of my roommate's good friend Frank (who is alive and walking from his motorcycle accident) is staying at our house. The long running joke at the house is apparently that I have met this person at least twice and have never remembered what he looks like ...or his name. Well - third time is a charm!

This is who frank is:

Frank is an aries! LIKE ME!!
31 years old
Likes to eat and cook
He can poach AN EGG!!
I believe he said today "Food is like sex."
His entire body is currently recovering from his accident so he might be high on drugs (I don't really know, but I did listen to his story about morphine last night.)
I think Frank might be a sexual person but I am not allowed to ask him those type of questions.
He is very clean and proactive about cleaning up the kitchen (which is amazing! so he is allowed to stay with us anytime!)
He also looks like a member from FAR EAST MOVEMENT
Hopefully, we will know more about him after his saturday morning lux breakfast spread with "Candice"
I don't know who candice is... so let's just move on from this topic.

Halloween Spooks!!

 Halloween Time!! I turned our living room into a haunted house with a vampire! Oooooo Scary!

The kitchen police here writing my first post. To those who doesn't know what I do, well... my job duty consists of keeping our kitchen clean, catch anyone who violates kitchen rules, and make sure people become better individuals for tomorrow.. and beyond. So my first post is all about THROW AWAY THAT EMPTY BOX!

You might not know this, but the kitchen police often gets anonymous submissions of tips. A tip I got this morning was a certain individual who ate the last Popsicle put the empty box back into the freezer! Upon discovering the empty box, we were able to take a picture right away to point out the offense. Lesson here is THROW AWAY THAT EMPTY BOX!
